Aguilar Towing used a small tow truck to bring my car out and used another tow truck to tow my car to a Tesla service center. During the entire process they were careful and diligent. Our Ford F150 XLT lightning 2023 (electric truck) broke down in San Jose. The battery died and we’re too far from home (SF). It’s only 4 months old with only 2600 mileage. Ford dealer service sent 2 tow truck services which failed because our Ford F150 stayed on parked, everything shut down, immovable. We were stuck for more than three hours. The other tow services have limited capabilities to tow electric vehicles like ours. Until I found Aguilar Towing company from google map. Javier was quick, dependable and price is reasonable. Due to high volume of his customers, he seemed rushing when he spoke but I was desperate. He said he can do the job. Aguilar’s truck arrived in 15 minutes and towed it to the location where we want it serviced. After I paid, I received the receipt in few minutes. Aguilar’s staff are nice, friendly and dependable. Improper tow, damage caused, no receipt, and unprofessional behavior
I used this towing service for my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 4×4. At the time, the truck had a fuel-related issue, but there were no problems with ABS, traction control, or steering.
The company towed my truck by pulling it (not using a flatbed), which is not recommended for this type of vehicle. Immediately after the tow, my truck developed multiple issues, including ABS warning lights, traction control failure, and very hard steering. These systems are unrelated to the fuel pump and were working properly before the tow.
Additionally, no receipt or proof of service was provided, which is unprofessional.
When I contacted the company, they refused to inspect the vehicle and instead blamed the fuel pump issue. They also failed to follow up after saying they would call. During a phone conversation, the person I spoke with used inappropriate language, which was very unprofessional.
I regret using this service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company due to improper towing practices, lack of accountability, and poor customer service.
